Metro Juárez is a metro station on the Mexico City Metro.[1][2] It is located in the Cuauhtémoc borough of Mexico City.[1]
The station logo depicts the bust of Benito Juárez (1806-1872), who served as president of Mexico for a long period in the 19th century.[1][2] This station's name, along with Metro Guelatao, refers to this Mexican politician.[3] The station has facilities for the handicapped.[1] The station opened on 20 November 1970.[4]
Metro Juárez serves the Centro neighbourhood, near the downtown of the city.[1] It is located on Balderas avenue,[1] and the walk from the station to the important Eje Central Lazaro Cardenas Avenue is full of specialty stores.[5]
